Okay I'm officially sick of this "revenge against LSU" narrative that a certain major sports company keeps shoving down our throats.

I get it. Kid felt slighted that he wasn't heavily recruited by Les seeing he loved LSU. However, he WAS recruited by Coach O and he CHOSE to go to Clemson. The narrative is false and I, for one, am sick of hearing about it.

Geaux Tigers.

How triggered would you have been if our opponent had been Ohio State and the endless narrative of Joe vs. his old team?

Just enjoy the ride man....

He's earned being able to change the facts of his recruitment in order to be a bitch?

At least that narrative would be based in facts.

extremely weak 'motivational' tool

that RB better just hope his Oline can handle this Dline...his motivation doesn't matter.

The narrative appears to be repeating itself self with us missing on Milton & Evans and then Gibbs/Clayton not wanting to hop on board.

If he is really butthurt about this year's later, then it sounds like he regrets his decision.

It’s not his fault.
Any length of time around Dabo gives you the “victim mentality”

Me too! Clemson recruited less than LSU and Coach O. Clemson came in a lot later than LSU and he jumped on the hot team that had just won the NC. It's all BS and I hope we crush his arse.

Yeah
It's like let's paint a picture of LSU as the bad guy here
He was offered and he turned it down or was recruited too late

It's not like he ended up at ULL

He's accomplished everything and won a national title, done more than he would have done at LSU over the last three years

Not really, Clayton landed with a team that has 15 wins total in the last 3 years, whereas Etienne got a late offer from a team that had 14 wins and a national championship the prior year...Gibbs isn't even a Louisiana kid, if he faces LSU in his junior year there will be literally zero stories that about him that mention LSU.
