Kind of surreal to be here.

One game a time. Not getting ahead of ourselves. But damn it feels really good to be staring at a #5 next to LSU going into the last weekend of the regular season.
This time a year ago we were just fighting just a make a bowl game. Finishing last in the SEC west. Us rantards were more obsessed tracking Lincoln Riley's flights than the A&M game. The Coaching Changes board was my minute to minute heroin. We were the laughing stock of the SEC.
One year later there is a #5 next to our name going into the A&M game. 2 wins away from a play off berth. I know it's still a damn long shot.
I just wanted to stop and smell the flowers and appreciate the turn around. It's quite frankly insane we are even in this position. Feels good baws. Future is bright.

Like I'm flabbergasted that if we handle business against A&M and that's a big if(taking nothing for granted after last weekend)

This team has far exceeded expectations in year 1 and it’s wild to think that we have a legit shot to make the playoffs because this team isn’t great. This is probably the worst team that CBK will ever have at LSU and it’s just a testament to how great of a coaching job he’s done to have this team in this position

Beautifully written. Regardless of what happens against a wounded-animal A&M and the defending national champion, this team has proven me wrong game after game, and I don't think I'm alone. We got a program again, y'all. A contender heavyweight program.
