Would drive me nuts when I beat my man off the dribble and a fricking teammate would drag their's right in front of me into the lane. Not helpful....

We are not fast
We have no bench or pg
We fatigue easily
These are things KM can’t fix

This. Didn’t realize how much Alexis Morris would be missed. And VL was a mistake. Should have went after a legit PG

Lack of hustle can’t blame that solely on the point guards.

Clear out with four low post.

But angel isn’t Chris Jackson.

My guess is Kim need to show Angel she isn't all that...

that was horrible from the start...

If Kim wanted to win the game above sending a message to the team, she lets the freshman take this shot, but she let the "super star"...take it when in fact, Angel is kind of so so in my book

she scores 3 feet around the rim, and it is a good post player and makes most free throws..

one on one clear out, something is all wrong here, unless Kim wanted to show the team and certain players something that needed to communicated in a way that only failure could do better than words and preaching.

loved Jose bless his heart.

I knew someone would get my reference! :)
one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of knowing.

I lived beside him on GSRI after he graduated and was bouncing around European leagues and he was so kind hearted and he and I would set up a baseball field in the lot behind us and would play baseball with all the kids.

Even then it wasn't safe and his apartment was broken into numerous times when he was out of the country

They stole his final 4 ring and his prized jar of matchbooks. Who the frick does that after he was so kind to everyone.

I've told this story before but my favorite memory of him is he borrowed my 1978 Datsun pickup to move and his knees were practically touching the head liner... Plus it was a 5 speed.

I think CKM knows these are teachable moments also. It let's Reece know she isn't super woman.

Reese is a decent enough ball handler but in that situation there were definitely better options with the game on the line. You can not dribble through the lane, especially when the defense knows that you are going to go to the goal. It will get stripped 90% of the time. Everyone knew that she would not take a shot from the outside. McKala was having a rough game but she would have been a better option. . Either her or HVL should have been the one with the ball in their hands at the end

Morris is missed, no doubt about it.

HVL looks better physically and seems to be moving a little better after the foot injury, but she's struggled to put it all together to be sure.

If she can do so by the tournament then it's all good, and Coach Kim will figure it out in any event.

He probably had some plan, but the plan failed.

We didn't lose on the last play we were out played the whole game. This group did not play team ball the whole game. Neither did they play disciplined defense.

Yep, it’s like they got punched in the mouth, and each tried to be the star, instead of playing like a team. They just weren’t ready for the intensity AU brought, and they played lazy, uninterested ball for whatever reason.
