That wasn't bad but the funniest part of that skit (and full disclosure, I stopped right after this) was when the Charles Barkley character said "let me google Vegas Women's spread. Ok that is not what I thought it would be"

It was actually a half decent cold open. The Kim Mulkey impression was the least funny part though. The old trope of "alligators, bayous, and swamps" is lazy and unfunny.

Got news for you... When people think of CA, they don't think about Orange County, they thing about Hollywood, or Surfing... When people think of TX,they see Cowboys and Oil... When people think of LA, they think of Swamps and Aligators, and rediculous politicians, and poor health care, and poor test scores... etc. The stereotypes are there for a reason.

And jokes using those stereotypes alone as punch lines are also lazy and unfunny. What’s your point?

Comedy is very subjective. When it came to the Mulkey part the skit went for every Louisiana cliché they could think of. The Q joke didn't make sense. The joke about her attire should have been something like the women of the WWE go to Talbots.

In all I didn't find it that funny. At least the audience didn't boo the Mulkey character.

That show used to produce superstars. Now? Not so much. Probably because the comedians are not allowed by corporate to fully express their comedic talents.

Sorry. I lead you down a logical path, using comparisons to other states, simple things so you would understand... then I coupled it with the same comparison to this state... An analogy? And then, I added to the ending to make a point. Did the test scores comment hit close to home?

That was horrible. SNL has been a consistent shite stain for about 20-25 years now.
