You may be the dumbest person to post here today and that is a tremendous accomplishment

If you ever get caught breaking the law, just tell the police that it's an accident and see how that goes

but how they frick you know she "chose" to break that law? You know this for a fact don't you smart guy?

I’m assuming that she’s smart enough to know that if being in possession of marijuana is federally illegal in the US then it’s most likely also illegal in Russia. And if she didn’t know, then I’m also assuming that she would be smart enough to do a simple google search to figure that out prior to going to Russia.

So either she chose to break the law or she’s incredibly stupid. Regardless of those two possibilities she still broke the law and will pay the consequences. Feel better now?

Why do we even ask political questions in press conferences concerning sports?
Good way to put an end to that crap… Stop press conferences… Period. You don’t really have to rehash a game or go through a grilling from the press. I would think that the press would get the message quickly. These coaches have no control over their players lives once they leave school.

She could have spent 5 seconds with a BS canned response and the shitheads at ESPN never even pick up on it.

Most people should be able to agree with this and move on.

However, the following picture is a rough sketch of your typical TD poster, particularly when politically charged topics meet sporting topics:

It’s not political to say you hope your former players don’t spend a decade in Russian prison.

What Kim should have said was I love her, care about her and hope she is safe. I also wish she had been wise enough to not break the law that she was fully aware of because she has playing over every off season for years.

Exactly what kids are looking for in a Coach.

Public perception is important.

This is maybe he best known former player.

Less than 1% of people will get outraged about this. The other 99% could give a shite

Do not conflate “the public” with “the most hysterical minority”

Do you think black female basketball players may be over represented in that 1%

It's true Griner fricked up, should have known better and is suffering the consequences.

It's also true Griner is being used as a political pawn by the Russians. The two things are not mutually exclusive. She probably was allowed through any number of other times with weed until the Russians found it convenient to set her up. There are no coincidences in Russia. She should have been more situationally aware.

This may hurt Mulkey with one constituency but help her with another. A lot of parents are uneasy with the strong lesbian influence in WBB and Griner is one of the higher profile lesbians. Mulkey has been sidestepping those issues for a long time.

Exactly!

The fact that you feel the need to patronize all black women by speaking of them as a mindless monolith incapable of their own decision-making agency tells me all I need to know about what a dumb frick shite stain you are.

There is nothing more racist than what you’re doing here, but you’ve been one of the loudest of all in here trying to make a race-irrelevant issue all about race. Your smug elitism is showing and it’s hideous

Doesn’t even Mulkey know she is not entitled to an opinion on these things.

Well if an athlete states an opinion they hate America and the Rant wants them to stfu. Mulkey is employed by LSU and is paid millions to coach and recruit black athletes. So yea sometimes she needs to stfu and keep her opinion to herself

And you’ve been the second-most cancerous motherfricker in here behind SammyBitch.

She gave no opinion on the issue. She has commented in the past on the issue if you’d like to see her thoughts. She gets paid to coach basketball. And You attempt to speak to the mindset of all black female athletes like their minds are pressed from a generic template that only accommodates extremist groupthink.

Literally go get fricked. Both of you. You are both malignancies to the LSU family and need to be cut out
