I will link the clip when it’s available shortly, but I’m so proud of this woman and that she’s our coach. There are not many genuine people in the spotlight anymore, and this woman is true to herself and to her team and us as fans.
Shes also certainly intelligent, being valedictorian in high school and having a genius IQ. I’m proud to call her our coach, and I hope she continues to win to stick a middle finger up to everyone who is only tolerant of one viewpoint

I'm looking forward to the pre-game show. They're going to have to address this and give Mulkey props for fiercely defending her players. They touched on it briefly yesterday and Lobo seemed pissed about the timing

The amazing thing about this whole ordeal is it took the journalist 2 years for this. This is all rehash of what we have already heard. Apparently I should have gone into journalism.

You'd have to be an idiot not to know the WaPo delayed the release of this story after Kim went on the warpath to remove the "teeth" out of fear.

Glad someone was held accountable for once when trying to publish this garbage.

Clearly there was a lot more to it given the questions they sent to LSU and Mulkey or she would have never made all those comments.

I agree. I believe the writer had to go back and rewrite and eliminate some things in his initial article. CKM would not have commented on the article if there hadn't been something in the questions they sent that led her to believe inaccuracies were going to be published. She knocked the wind out of his sails.

I haven't read the entire article, only what's been quoted here, but it's pretty obvious, it's now a bust. The Griner crap is old news. The writer was attempting to hurt her and her family in some way writing about her father, but that's been over for their family for many years. Another bust.

She's a tough coach. Most of them are. Coaches in all sports have to concern themselves with players' physical status including weight. That may be the dumbest part of this article I've seen.
