Your take is myopic. Look lsu is in the toilet because of Title IX issues. If you hire her you bring in the best leader in women's sports. You shore up your reputation, you get positive press and there's a chance that you have a Title IX sport producing positive revenue taking the pressure off your football program to finance everything.
If it happens it is a net positive. I'm not sure it will, but she is a Louisiana girl and that's a strong draw.

An older aunt of hers was very ill few months back. I saw her at North Oak hospital. Kim is very much into family . Could be true

Considering Woodward’s history of throwing bank at coaches, it honestly wouldn’t surprise me.
And with the title IX stuff going on at LSU. It might make them more willing to go the extra mile here.

Once again. It's not about just the basketball. It's about solving a serious Title IX problem. LSU in in trouble for institutional loss of control regarding Title IX. Hiring Mulkey solves the problem. Head basketball coach and another title in the athletic department. I guarantee you she's up for it.
