At least he has Balls enough to tell the truth. Unlike some gutless pretenders who claim to be for the players.

If the SEC had any integrity, the ref would be suspended, the replay official would be suspended and Turner would get suspended for a half as well

The Replay personnel are the ones that need to be suspended/fired. They are the “safety net” for the onfield personnel in case they whiff the call.

Y’all need to let this go. Makes the fan base looks stupid constantly bringing this up. It had no impact on the game and neither did the officiating. It’s also not targeting.

Didn’t Turner try to take out Quinn Ewers at Texas last year?

The fact that we even have to discuss this as even being an issue, speaks volumes as to the total lack of integrity and morality of the officials and the SEC administration.

So now it is ok for an LSU player to lead with the crown, go helmet to helmet, lift the opposing player off the ground and plant them?!?!? Just wanna make sure I got new “interpretation” down.

Absolute insanity and disgusting .

Lol if you think that hit or the officiating affected the outcome of the game then you are a retard.

Game was well over by the time that hit happened.

Thanks Kiffin for standing up for our QB. Seems you've done more than our own coach has in that regards.

Absolutely. Kelly really is trying his best to piss people off this season.

That used to be a celebrated hit in football, now that the sport is soft everyone cries whenever a big hit happens.

Yeah we probably lose either way — that is fine. BAMA was a better coached team.

That hit absolutely was targeting. It doesn’t matter what you think about people being soft in todays game, the rules have evolved for a reason. QBs are absolutely defenseless when throwing. Its not like JD was running and got flattened, which we have seen.

The Bama alum in Birmingham? Those guys were likely jacking off to the replays of the dirty hit. The SEC is corrupt to the core. They don’t care.

no one is saying that hit cost us the game, what everyone is saying is that Turner got away with the football game equivalent of murder, and btw, although things were starting to unravel at that point, with the time remaining and the current score there was still a chance

Good grief,I had forgotten about that! Without a doubt he's the dirtiest player in the SEC. And that jackass Saban condones it.

Rules have only evolved so the people at the top can keep making money. Leagues don’t want star QBs/players putting up a bunch of yards and TDs to be taken out the game so the targeting rule was made. Has nothing to do with player safety.

Did it have a effect on the next game.
Not calling a flagrant foul definitely has an effect on the game.
