Timely hitting and clutch at-bats from Postseason Monster.
Milam in Regional and Super Regional:
.421 batting average, 11 RBIs, 9 runs scored, 10 walks

Milam has the same number of at bats right now as he had last season (he currently has 10 more plate appearances). He has 8 fewer hits. So his batting average would be like 36 points higher if he just had one more hit every two weeks this season.

Milam's bat woke up. Curiel's bat woke up. Even Jones had 3 hits yesterday. If we get these guys hitting like they have most of the season, the title is ours to take.

Most of everyone in my circle (all LSU Baseball fans) have been saying all along that we weren't worried about Milam, that he is the type that steps up when the games matter the most....a big time player under the brightest of lights. He was that last year, and now this year.

His dad came and worked with him this past week according to him.
Curiel’s dad did as well at one point before regionals??? It was late in the season.

The team was built for pitching and defense. Those come naturally. Offense comes with time. We see the same thing with football where the defense dominates early in practice, then the offense gels.

West Virginia decided that fielding was optional, lol

West Virginia decided that 27 free passes+hit batters was a good idea.
