Listen you have to have this type of kid in order to compete in major College sports. You win some you loose some. If we did not sign this kid when we had the chance too and he ended up somewhere else then everyone would calling Les and idiot. A no win situation he still may end up here he really wants to be a QB he would make more money in the NFL than in MLB. JMHO!

I think he is coming to LSU he has already said he wants to play both sports in College and he wants to be a TIGER!

You obviously do not follow the draft.

They do this all the time to create leverage in negotiations. They obviously felt he was likely going to sign or he wouldn't be picked that high.

well heres to hoping he plays a couple of years for us at least

if it were me, coming from a good family like him, I would go to school and have a good time being a two sport athlete... the money should be there after a few years of baseball if hes truly worth the first round pick

actually, there were rumors before the draft that the Dodgers are in such a financial mess right now that they might not be able to afford their first-round pick. of course, the rumors could turn out to be bogus.

I really hope that is true but I seriously doubt it.

He was projected mid first round but signability caused him to slip to 28. This has been said a number of places.

He also said that it was like 5-1 odds that they sign him. I wouldn't

this. and the fact they picked a guy seen as a tough sign makes it more likely.

again, not saying he'll definitely make it to campus, but there's hope.

Hell, does anyone even know who is in charge right now? Put aside the finances, which are crazy, what is the chain of authority right now? This divorce is killing the franchise right now.

The Dodgers are probably the best case scenario for LSU.

I still think there is a very low chance that Lee is a factor in football, but he'd be a huge recruit for the baseball team.

LSU is my team always have been always will be.
Dodgers are my MLB team.

In this case I want LSU to get Lee, however it's all about the money and I hate that these young kids can't enjoy the college experience but it is was it is. I hope Lee comes to LSU, we need him.
