This is a game you have to go in and break their will.
Winning a game isn't about breaking an opponent's will. It's about having a better game plan and better execution.
Now sure, if we get out to a big lead early, we can seize the momentum and demoralize a opponent, so if that's equivalent to "breaking their will" then that's fine.
But going into a game, the focus shouldn't be on mentally destroying an opponent, it should be game planning, strategy, and execution.

Most expensive game in Kentucky history. If Lane wants be like Saban, he needs to rip their throats out.
I think it's close early and we wear them down. I posted this in another thread:

UK is dead last in CFB in 3rd down conversions and last in the SEC in 3rd down defense. They are 13th in the SEC in pass defense and rush defense.
They were outgained by A&M and USCe.
There is one reason to be concerned. They have been on the positive side of turnovers which is why they won the A&M and USCe games and Leavitt has struggled with some bad turnovers.
LSU is tops in the SEC in offense and defense. Protect the ball and it's a 3 score win. Turn it over and it becomes a toss up.

Wait til this guy finds out what our score at half was vs La Tech....
How did La Tech score? What was the yardage comparison there at half?
Apples to oranges comparison

U know Joe Sloan is gonna pull out all the playbook he has to get back at LSU
Good thing for us that consists of 4 plays drawn up in crayon

It doesn't matter how it happened. The scoreboard said LSU 10, LA Tech 7 at halftime.
LSU may very well kick Kentucky's arse. But it won't be "because they only led South Alabama by 3 at half"

we don’t dominate this game then we need a reset, quick. Forget our record they’re the last 20 years or any of that shite. We have without question the better roster and coaching staff. It’s a tough environment but cmon, it’s still Kentucky. The standard should be to beat a team like this by 2+ touchdowns or more. That’s the truth.
I want to be clear I’m not predicting a beat down but this is the truth.
A playoff team beats uk by 2 TDs on the road and certainly doesn’t lose to them.
I’m not saying that uk won’t hang around for a little bit but if we are as good as most people on this board think then it will be really worrisome if it’s not a comfortable lead midway through the fourth.

Kentucky is a must win. Tigers need to show up and be physical
almost every game is a Must win with 1 loss. We can’t afford to drop 2 more and we have Alabama and Texas on the schedule on top of Kentucky, Miss State and Tennessee

OMG! How can we win now! Our coaches and players all have chips and our chips are on better coaches and players than theirs.

2 plays consist of 4 yard outs to receivers and running backs. Nothing like these plays when we needed more than 7 or 8 yards especially on 3rd downs.

And we won’t be? I don’t think there’s a coach and program hated more right now than us.

They tried to kick LSU out of the SEC for doing the same shite everyone else was doing. By using some grey area stipulation. To target only us.
While allowing a team to use the SAME EXACT lawfare that we were told was against the rules. To play an ineligible QB while the entire nation glazed him. But acted like we were destroying CFB... Then that beat us and the entire nation pointed and laughed at our coach. For 2 weeks, some still are.
The entire conference postured against LSU. Probably still currently are. I'm not sure this is all over with yet. Not only that. It's very clear that everyone that's been playing us, besides McNeese was consciously trying to hurt and take our players out of the game with legal but dirty shite. Not only that. LSU blew out TAMU and WENT DOWN in the rankings. While teams who were on a bye week went up.
So, if anyone should be playing to hurt people and have a chip on their shoulder. It should be LSU. They should be head hunting right now. After how these schools treated us. While they were ALL using TRO's as well.

Nic Anderson recorded 12 receptions for 106 yards and 2 touchdowns during his 2025 season at LSU before suffering a season-ending injury, with an estimated NIL valuation of $745,000.
OK Mr. GM; Is this money well spent? These are all business decisions and no player in this era of Portal annual contracts is worth more than "what have you done for me lately?"
Bring him back or No?
