This at Kentucky game is the only one left on the schedule that would be a shocker if we won. Can we win there? Yes, of coarse.......about as likely as Arky beating us at home. But uk is the game that stands out. If we beat them and win again Sat we could be talking top 10 territory.

Agreed they aren’t but we must see this team play their best ball game of the year. Must play better perimeter defense from the jump. Also can’t go on droughts offensively and defensively and decide to show up later on in the game like we have consistently seen. Hell for the next two games including Tennessee for that matter.

anything is possible with this LSU team

Sure, it's possible, but highly unlikely. LSU will have to greatly improve shooting % to compete in Rupp. Kentucky on their home court is a whole quantum leap above any SEC team LSU has faced so far. An upset there will require a stellar effort by LSU and Kentucky playing a subpar game.

My thoughts exactly, they are playing very well right now and I don't know given our still somewhat inconsistent play that I feel all that confident about being able to go into Rupp and win. However, I do think this team will compete.

Maybe they will be looking ahead to Tennessee.

Agreed. Ky will need to be off and lsu clicking. Same with Tenn, even at home. The real question is will lsu go on the road and beat FL and Alabama? Win those two and take care of business at home, and lsu has a great season, and quite possibly a 3 or 4 seed with a few sec trny wins. Lose those two, and they very likely a 6 or 7 seed unless they knock off one of ky or Tenn.

I doubt very seriously that they will be looking ahead of 9-1 lsu.

I’m hoping we split UK and Tenn
Split those road games at Alabama and Florida
Take care of UGA, Aggy, Vandy, UF at home

Even if we drop both of the big games you’d still be in great shape. Can’t lose all 4 of those though and I don’t see that happening

Maybe not, but they, I still think there's a bit of arrogance on their part....like we really ain't that good, just had a fortunate schedule early.

We did have a fortunate early schedule. Now we can prove it was no fluke

I did not say we did. I've seen many Kentucky fans who have said as much though.

Agreed. We can't afford Reid and KBW to be sitting from foul trouble.

One thing is for sure. This team is battle tested, They've proven they can win ugly. They've proven they can come back from a deficit. They've proven they can win when a couple of players have bad games. This will go a long ways to helping them when they go to Rupp.

I think they absolutely will be looking ahead. Their fans had signs up at the game yesterday saying to bring on tennessee.

I have. I have watched this team come back from huge deficits and win games when their backs are against the wall. I also watched them lose to Arkansas in the same situation. I also never take KY for granted, especially at Rupp. I don’t see LSU storming back in Rupp if they are down 16.

Have to avoid going down 15 pts like we have in the last 5 games or so cuz we won’t come all the way back in Rupp. Need to get them to come out strong from the top and play like they’re down double digits from tip off
