Serna has made several baserunning errors in the last few weeks. True freshman, though. He will learn.

Serna has to look for the ball there. Didn’t even turn his head until he got to 2nd base

Get the jist Fball, watching the ball should have been learned in HS ball. College Fr no excuse.

Have a feeling Serna wasn’t moved on the base paths much in high school to have developed a lot of situational awareness. I think a lot of people really overestimate the kind of strategy employed pre-college.

Baserunning error for sure and a teachable moment for him.
