Ugh, I think Sheerin should start. Guidry’s starter vibes are off.
i will trust our 2 time national champ coach over your opinion.

Was hoping to see Guidry come out the pen. I don't think he's as effective as he can be as a starter. Hopefully he's on his a game and if not, the pen will be ready if he struggles. Then again, I'm just an idiot with an internet connection, so I don't know shite.
Hope Stanfield can get going. Would be huge for this lineup. Seems like he's still a little hurt and could be effecting his offense a bit. If my memory is correct, the thing that kept him out so long after his injury was the inability to swing the bat without it hurting him. Could also be he's still working himself back to game speed after missing a month.
I really hate Yorke batting 5th. There's no quicker way to kill a rally then having him bat after some of our better hitters. The dude is terrible at the plate in SEC play and his defense is right there with it. He's not even drawing walks anymore. Surely, there's someone on that bench who can offer better defense at 1st while, at the very least, continuing his offensive output. If Jay is trying to get him going, put his fat arse batting 7th or 8th and have Dardar or Pearson batting 5th.

Don’t know about the vibes but, Guidry is our best option to get 5 or six batters out without giving up anything. And like a lot of teams, KYs lineup is top heavy.
That could be what we need to get a lead. Because I think we will need to play with one today. Lots of inconsistency behind Guidry.

Agree. What I said. They are bunters and walkers

I also wonder if part of the reason to start Guidry is because of his defense on the mound. He can help field against a small ball team like Kentucky.

True. They also have Noot and the kid that pitched Tuesday, his name escapes me. He pitched well.

A lot of posts seem to not realize UK is starting a LHP. That’s the reason for a lot of these moves. Like Braun not being in the lineup. Stanfield leading off and Milam being down in the order, etc…

A sign of good things to come?
As I was out for a walk, a pretty lady was driving by and had "back that arse up" by Juvenile playing. Maybe Dardar goes 4 for 4 work 4 HRs?

We need to win today. It’s time to win a weekend series, feels like it’s been a month since we’ve done so.
lol actually had to re-look at the schedule it’s been well over a month since we’ve won a traditional 3-game weekend series (Milwaukee Feb13-15)
