So you are saying all players are good coaches?

What a waste of a thread.

I've never once read that here. WTH are you talking about? Most coaches are former players.

No, you have read here many times that just because a player is good does not mean he can coach! You just don’t seem to be able to grasp the difference.

I'm used to dumb takes and pointless threads on this board but they seem to have really ramped up the past week or so.

Many good players also make good coaches. However many of these good players would be considered over achievers or late bloomers because they had to work very hard to achieve and not based on exceptional athletic ability.

No. No you haven’t. What you’ve read is that being a good player does not automatically = being a good coach. Usually said in response to someone suggesting LSU hire a great former athlete with little to no coaching experience to be a paid position coach.

What a stupid comment. 99.9% of college and NFL coaches played at some level even if it was high school. There are probably no NFL coaches who didn’t at least play some college.

I mean, the list of professional coaches that didn't play their sport at some level is very short. Like, you could fit them on one hand.

What a dumb, meatheaded comment.

What a stupid thread. Great players do not automatically equate to being a good coach. It’s a different thing. Different type of commitment. No one thinks players can’t be good coaches.

I thought so. The comments were what was expected. LOL. Facetiousness doesn't work on a sports board, and especially the Rant.
