I'm no fan of O, but who did this apply to last year?

We have a real coaching staff with ability to coach

I would argue Kelly assembled primarily a recruiting staff with the coaching burden placed heavily on the coordinators.

Lake Mead is nearly dry, no boats allowed, so dry they are recovering bodies. How often does your mom let you watch the woke news?

I’m good friends with a ND fan. He said BK is a great coach but the ST coach is a great recruiter but awful coach

Did you pass 3rd grade reading comprehension? Seems understandable to me.
We are throwing our best players out there and they continue to make mistakes. The backups are even worse.

I’m really starting to believe some LSU fans are incapable of being objective. Our roster is just not very good and our team culture/discipline was at an all time low in college football history. This rebuild is going to take a lot of time.

For 5 weeks every aspect of LSU’s special teams has been a failure except the punter. You want us to ignore what our eyes are telling us, you want us to believe it’s all the fault of our players. I bet a lot of LSU parents that would disagree with you!

This is Kelly’s response to reporters regarding his process for evaluating his coaches and special teams.

No it’s not.

His actual full response is on the homepage. Why are you lying?

The Mississippi is lower than it's been in 30 years, and in turn is the cleanest it's been in that stretch.

100% accurate, but doesn’t change the fact that Kelly’s message is still muddier. Does it?

No, but I expect a clearer answer than the one he gave as to how he evaluates his coaches. Did you see one?

You entitled pricks are something else

Why do you think you’re owed an explanation? He doesn’t have to tell you shite about what goes on in his head or inside the football building

None of what he said made any sense. I lose faith more and more from interviews I see done

It makes sense if OP posted the actual full question & answer. His response was to a question about execution & the players ability to execute.

quote:

Q. Special teams and just kind of picking up on your drift here is that a lot of it is execution, but special teams seems to be something different each week. Going back to my first question, is it still just a learning process of who can do what and their ability to execute what they're asked to do on special teams? Or in your review, has there been a larger issue that kind of seems to be repeating itself?

BRIAN KELLY: Well, look, the areas that are pretty clear -- you watched the game, right? We have to field the football, and we have to tackle in space. Those are clearly areas that we have to be able to get guys to perform at that level.

Do we need to spend more time individually on things? Do we need to demand more from the individuals that are actually out there?

There isn't a whole group of other guys that are ready to play. I mean, we're playing front line. We've got a starting linebackers on our punt return team, and we have one of our best receivers returning kickoff.

It's not like we've got the JV team out there. These are our best guys, and we just have to stick with it and work at getting better.

Time for you guys to take a look around and see what guys are getting paid. Some pretty mediocre coaches are around 8-9 million
