Our O will have to win us games, plain & simple.
I sure hope he realizes Mizzou, Auburn, Alabama, Florida and A&M all have defenses better than what he has played so far. His offense ain’t putting up 40+ on those teams.

What have you seen to make you think we aren’t fricked the rest of the year?

That's because you decided what you wanted to hear going in.

Nothing he said indicated that.

So, you're saying Mizzou, AU, UF all outscore us because their D is better?

gtfo

LSU will be one of THE best O's any of these teams face and it isn't even close.

Our D MUST improve to ruin others plans though.

Still recovering from it, so I think it should still be a factor.

The fact is that we don't have a lot of depth right now and I think that's what's causing bad play at times.

I mean there is no magic pill to fix our issues. Due to the roster he inherited he was forced to piece meal the defense together 2 years in a row. Last year it worked out, this year its not.

When is this excuse going to run out for BK. He used it over and over and over to explain why he couldn't win the big one at ND. Now that a season with playoff hype is getting derailed, here comes the same excuse about personnel to save the day. "When BK has the personnel he is going to be a championship coach." I can't understand how anyone can watch that game on Saturday, against FSU, and all the big game blow outs at ND and place the blame on personnel. This is a horribly coached team right now. Call a spade a spade and stop making excuse for the horrible job BK is doing this year.

7 new starters on D isn't conducive to great things on defense.

House isn't the answer either

What I am saying is LSU hasn’t played a defense worth a shite except maybe Fla St and they held LSU to 17 points until late in the 4th.

You can’t run up the score on the 2 Mississippi schools and a cupcake and think your offense is elite.

All those teams coming up except Georgia state and army have the athletes on the defensive side of the ball to seriously limit LSUs offense. Auburn did it last year.

There’s no fixing what you saw on defense on Saturday. It’s not fixable this year. Prepare your arse. It’s going to be bad.

I guess the silver liner is we don't play an Ole Miss offense again. The next best offense we will play is this Saturday. The rest are decent to meh!

He literally told everyone months a ago that LSU was a year away.

”We need another year of recruiting-one more really good year on both sides of the ball, I think, put us in a position where, I think, year three, the consistency piece, the depth of our program, the messaging, all the things we do on a day-to-day basis, puts us in a position to compete for a championship.”

The only solution is to make the kids we have better...and you can only make kids so much better.

People who want to blame the DC do so, because it's a lot easier to pretend that we fix one thing we fix everything. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
