Just his new policy on reporting injuries to alleviate potential pressure on staff as it connects to gambling is genius. Within two years, this will be the standard for all colleges.
He is very underrated as a coach imo.

Exactly. You could add to it also:
Professional
Excellent bearing
Projects strength and confidence without trying to.

Exactly.

He was done with all of that bullshite.

He's just gonna say exactly what's going on.

Again, extremely refreshing.

I have so much confidence in him that I think LSU will build him a statue when he retires and wins multiple championships.

O and Miles were as dumb as they get but had recruiting down.
Miles wasn't dumb. The game just passed him by.

When I really listened fully to a Press conference earlier in year. I was so impressed about he summarized everything in a logical order of past, present and future and non of that silly Coach speak is standard. He is a very smart man, and he is operating like he is playing chess while some others are playing checkers. Very impressive guy in every way. I still smile when I think of the OT Play and he went for two to beat Saban. Saban was stunned and he won’t forget that loss ever.

They had to say something stupid because his hire scared everyone, knowing what LSU can do with dumb Les Miles and playboy Orgeron. This will be a better hire than Saban was long term.

When you hire someone well then they are the coach you hired and you just go out there everyday with the guy you hired and hope that he does what he was hired to do.

frick dem, once you hired frick em all

The “fit” narrative that the media has particularly with LSU is pretty insulting. They are basically saying you have to be an idiot character to coach here and that’s what the fans want which is completely idiotic and is an insult.

I think deep down some media are likely saying to themselves “if that thing gets an actually competent coach it’s gonna be a nightmare”

It depends on how you define "dumb" but you certainly could not call him "smart", "elite", "professional", or "business-like".

You can call Kelly and Saban those things but not Miles or O.

How someone talks at a press conference doesn’t have a thing to do with winning games.

Les proved that.

Only obstacle is that he plays in the hardest division in College Football.

Wait. That WILL NEVER BE AN EXCUSE. You fricking dumbasses weren’t saying shite when AU was 5, Arky was 3 and LSU was 1 or when all the teams had a winning record in the West and had to deal with an outstanding UF team that won a shite load of games.

The SEC west was the hardest division in college football all but 1 of the years Miles coached and that was arguable in 2005.

Miles dealt with Saban, Urban, Tubberville, Nutt, Petrino, Richt (on a few occasions) Spurrier a couple times), Chizik and Mullen to name a few.

Make no mistake, there are zero excuses.

I hated Miles and you can confirm that in my post history. I thought he was done in 2008.

IMO Orgeron was a figurehead and we were lucky to have Ensminger and Aranda They handled the football brainwork. I wish Miles had been more of a figurehead, He interfered too much,
