Nobody here is interested in your breakdown.

Why you think we would be is beyond me.

But thanks for the paragraph nobody is gonna read.

Go look up who they played. That 2012 NC game was over after Bama made it 7-0.

Hard agree fans hanging out on other teams' message boards is weird and embarrassing. I regret everything and will leave now.

Yeah and he followed up that last second win over Alabama with a loss to a really bad Texas A&M team.

Move those goalposts

First it was you can’t name a big win

I name a big win and then it’s well they lost this other game

Did he ever win a championship? No? Cool.

Sec west isn't whatever ND plays in. We aren't winning shite with him outside eof a blind squirrel moment with burrow 2.0. Hell, Daniels is balling and we're wasting 600yd games.

No one is denying the big win which is great but you can’t lose to a bad team like A&M. No one expected that loss last year.

That’s true but I also didn’t expect him to go undefeated in year 1

Next year looks like a big step back from this year and our next recruiting class likely won't end strong.

So are we waiting until year 5?

Uh huh. Remember he's also the losingest head coach in Notre Dame history

Don't you understand that's funny to us?

All the things you guys think "hurt" us is just another blemish on your programs resume.

Like the "Kelly killed a kid" narrative.

What school did that happen at again?

And what school kept a "murderer" employed for years afterwards until he left on his own?

Damn...what sleazy arse university.

And that’s fine and all, but we’re not seeing improvement in defense at all, and to compare 2012 (or in that neighborhood) to 2022-2023 with NIL is not a fair comparison. NIL and transfer portal have made the game essentially unrecognizable from 10 years ago.

I want to keep faith in BK but damn it’s getting hard when it appears as though the very things ND fans warned us of regarding BK are happening.

Idk what the answer is, but you don’t have to be a football Xs and Os scholar to recognize there are serious deficiencies in this program as it stands right now.

If he gets a talented QB they will look like a Heisman winner right away and then mysteriously plateau or even actively regress. Program overall success will track directly with the acumen of his

I mean, this is often the case for many coaches. Not saying there is no merit to the rest of what you said, but the defensive coordinator is extremely important. See Coach O once Aranda left and we replaced him with Pelini.

I will say that Jayden Daniels is playing out of his mind this year, so the part about the QB regressing is off so far.

I just don't think Kelly's in-game decisions are as sound and smart as they once were. He seems to be all over at times. That won't lead to the consistency he had at ND.

Correct, scheduled like pansies [or unlucky usc, Michigan, fsu all down programs for the decade] bk never came close to greatness. He beats tomato cans and shrivels under bright lights. The divide between those like me who never wanted him and was ecstatic when he left and those who kept making excuses lasted a decade. Those cracks are starting here and will ramp up when he steps even further backwards next year.

Ok, but you will admit that he did make ND a consistent winner again and made them relevant when they were dead for a couple of decades before that, right? Clearly that wasn't an easy accomplishment.

I don't know if he'll pan out for what he is getting paid here, but in the eyes of the fans, he won the biggest game he has had so far here with beating Bama in Tiger Stadium to win the West last year. He was bold under the bright lights and it paid off. Problem is that when you're getting paid 10 million per year, you're only as good as your last game. He'll need to fix LSU's abomination of a D quickly. The offense looks great, but you need D to beat anyone of significance.

Yeah. Too many people wanting to fire a coach that won 10 games last year. We are not Auburn. Give him time.

If you don’t trust BK, trust that Scott Woodward. He has two hires that just won national championships. Football is a different beast.

It’s actually quite pathetic that you root for ND, then found an LSU message board just so you can rip Kelly. You should reassess your life’s priorities.

No one here can name a ND big win because ND hasn’t been relevant in most of our life times. And as we saw last week, they won’t be relevant this year either. That’s not a Kelly issue.
