The team was disappointed in their performance in the lockeroom and Kelly is telling them they should be proud of what they accomplished. It shows the mentality he’s built with this team. They felt they should have dominated! You have to love that! Either way, we’re the fricking SEC WEST CHAMPS! GEAUX TIGERS!

That’s damn leadership. Man I was excited somewhat when Kelly was hired but man we hit the jackpot. He’s so composed, leader, coaches kids, and earns respect

They should have higher standards than what we saw today, but if they were disappointed in themselves, that tells me the culture Kelly is trying to instill is taking hold.

Maybe next year we will be at the point where the players just take care of business on the field in a spot like this and win going away. But I’ll always be happy for a W.

They all need to chip in and buy Harold Perkins a Dom and steak dinner or two.

Not every win will be pretty, but a win is a win

A great manager knows when to break down and when to build up.

Kelly seems to be a great manager.

All I knew of him at ND was the red faced yelling on the sidelines. He’s been so much better than that.

I really do believe Kelly found his dream job here. The Kelly we are seeing now easy going, looking healthy, and just exonerates leadership and the players love him is not the one we read about at Notre Dame. When he talks about LSU about it's history, culture, traditions he just glows and he knows the sky's the limit here. Thank you Brian Kelly and

He’s right ! It won’t always be pretty . To win on the road in the SEC when you don’t play your best .

Let's don't forget that this team was patched together with paper clips and duct tape. Transfers (some from minor programs), walk-ons, freshmen at key positions. This may very well be the least talented team Kelly will have at LSU. And they won the West.

Every team has these games. You find a way to win. Look at UGA versus Missouri. Look at OSU last week to Northwestern. They had bad weather too but they found a way to win. They don't always have to be pretty as long as they end in a win

At the end of the season, most people will not know the score of the Akansas game but it will still show up as a victory.... even in this day, it's good to win a game with defense.

If his money is good anywhere in BR right now, that business should be shamed.

“May” be the least talented? Oh there is no question about that. Most courageous? Now you’re talking.
