and duke it out with the best of the best.

while money might be playing a part in this, the dude is already worth 30 million dollars. his kids’ kids’ kids are already set. he could have easily stayed at ND, knowing he probably would never win a title.

he’s seen les miles and ed fricking orgeron win titles here, and is betting on himself (rightfully so) to win one as well. he knows the resources we have. it shocked me at first, but i’ll take this dude 10 times out of 10 over a coach that ran to the pac 12 to play it safe like a little bitch

i’m riding with this mother fricker!

Last night for me Kelly was a meh hire.

The more pro BK posts I read the more the needle for me moves from meh to splash. It may take a playoff birth to move the needle completely to splash but as long as the needle is moving in that direction it's all good.

The best part is he knows how to run a program, no more learning on the job or depending on assistants.

He's got nothing to lose. He's 146 years old

I have no choice but to ride with this mother fricker as well. He doesn't have a natty but his record at Cincy and ND speaks for itself.

He's the most qualified coach LSU has hired since...

Let me fix this for you,
Kelly left a comfortable job at ND (easy schedule every year) to come to the LSU
Why LSU
1. Better money
2. Better recruiting
3. Nattys, Last 3 coaches got a Natty and LSU has the second most Nattys in the BCS/CFP era.
4. Excellent facilities
5, Commitment to hire and pay for excellent assistant coaches
6. Plays in SEC that has won 13 of the 23 titles of the BCS/CFP era and 10 of the last 15

Yeah I've been looking at Notre Dame's schedules the past several years and it's not as soft as people around here keep saying. They play name brand teams every week. You don't see many games against teams that you would need google to find.
