Oh wait forgot one more

Remember the 20 yard holding penalty we were being assessed before that break?

Bama should have lost To'oto'o for targeting

Bama should have had another targeting when JD slid (they picked up the fricking flag)

I was yelling for targeting review on ToOto...i was astounded there was no review....and been thinking about that on this bad refs topic....glad someone else pointed it out

Hey, I can’t fault the Bama player. He was doing what he was coached to do: play to the whistle.

he clearly lowered his head to lead with the crown

Also the refs saying the Bama guy didn't touch JD on his slide was insane. There's also no reason that shouldn't have been reviewed for targeting AFTER they picked up the flag.

Yeah I made a thread on the Score Board last night saying Kelly had to learn you can't be complacent against Bama because you have to beat them and the refs.

People melted in the thread

I suspect they didn't melt because they didn't agree that Bama gets all the calls. They melted because your dumb arse was criticizing Kelly for being too complacent.

Your post quality has certainly taken a nosedive.

I’m assuming you’re either massively depressed or are involved with a progressive chick. Possibly both.

Or maybe your ego is bruised because of how wrong you’ve been all year about this LSU team.

For being new here, he completely understands what LSU is up against when we play Bama. It’s no coincidence that officiating is poor every time we play them.

He's played Alabama before. He knows how it works.

Memories of the 2000 game at TS come to mind. Officials "didn't see" Bama muff a punt and LSU recover it. Saban(@LSU) held up the game until they did see it (on Jumbotron).

If we all weren’t pissed off as hell it was funny as shite. LSU players were in the refs faces pointing to the Jumbotron. The refs literally would look at the ground. They refused to look up. It was one of the strangest things I’ve ever seen. It went on for some time.

Finally one looked up, saw and reversed the first down to our team.

On the sec AOL board bammers we’re pissed bc there was no instant replay in college ball and they said it was cheating to reverse the call.

Pretty amazing.

Any good coach should've gone for 2 in that situation after all those calls.

He made the right call. I think most agreed with him last night.

How is not knowing the rules the refs fault?

But the ruling on the field was fumble recovered by LSU. You couldn’t see clearly he touched the ball. The trajectory wasn’t altered. It’s possible that he went to grab it and missed it.

The rule says unless it is absolutely conclusive the ruling in the field stands…

Later with the tipped pass they certainly followed that rule.

Another one was the TD pass by Young when Perkins was slammed to the ground and no holding call...

Perkins was pulled down one hand on his jersey and one hand on his face mask.

Earlier on a holding call, the lsu guy barely had the guy’s jersey (which is every play in every game) and the bammer flopped. Literally flopped. And they called holding.

The ref on the announce team was really good and fair and he called it out immediately that the play would be overturned. It’s a dumb rule no one knew and should be changed, but it was the right call apparently.

That same (ex) ref immediately called a tipped ball on that interference. But the refs in Birmingham didn’t agree. They should have a camera in that booth in Birmingham live showing the discussion.

That rule needs to be changed. A player that is ineligible should not be able to affect the play in such a major way by merely touching the ball. It should be something like our ball in that situation with a ten yard penalty tacked on for an ineligible player interfering. If one of their players get possession and they keep the ball then the ten yard penalty goes against them from where they got possession.

The tipped pass pissed me off because that crazy eyed red is looking at a 4 inch monitor.

I don’t think the ref with the 4 inch monitor has much input. It’s the boys in Birmingham at the SEC offices reviewing and talking to that ref when decide.

We have no idea who that Birmingham group is.
