Kelly calling his shot

I lost all confidence in Kelly after the Bama beatdown. But I will say I appreciate the non coach speak direct approach to media and calling his shot “meet us at the NC”. Nussemier coming back and improving will help, attacking the portal heavy in positions of need will help. Keeping the majority of this recruiting class together will help. Bringing back key players will help. It’s shaping up to next year being the year. And if Kelly doesn’t deliver then the buyout WILL happen. Love to hear the tenacity at least. Hoping for the best. Still think Kelly is the wrong coach, but hoping I’m wrong and will eat crow.

I think Kelly was obviously miffed by some things in the media in the last few weeks. Whether he had lost the team, etc. Think he would have been better off keeping the " receipts " talk to himself. Bring that up AFTER you've made a championship game. Media will use his comments to put a rope around his neck if he doesn't deliver. But I do think Kelly really wants to win a Natty here.

If he doesn’t do it, it will piss off some of our fanbase even more, but I like the approach. Throw your balls on the table, and tell the naysayers off.
Also the team is fighting for him, themselves, and for LSU. I had almost lost all faith 2 weeks ago, and while wins against Vanderbilt and OU will not crown us National Champs, I still have faith in what LSU is building. I think Kelly leads us to the mountaintop before he retires.
If I’m wrong, I’m wrong. I’d rather root for LSU and be wrong, than be proven right about something that hurts LSU.

Some of yall are really delusional. BK has at least 3 more years before any talk of a buyout starts. We’re still paying O’s contract off. Big money boosters aren’t going to fork out $60 million for a buyout and still keep paying NIL money.

The program needs some confidence and swagger
The OU game, the comments about spending in the portal, Nuss’ performances the last two games and these post game comments have certainly changed the news cycle a bit.
Just think about the we comin’ moment.
That took what was one of the lowest feelings of the program (shut out ant home vs bama) and turned it into a rallying cry.

OM on road with serious revenge, Gump on road they kill us, OK on road with another revenge, @ Clemson for opener, USCe although at TS big revenge. We kill ATM at TS but I just don’t see it. Hope I’m wrong!

Give BK a mid QB and we are done. Wouldn't have said this mid-season but Nuss is the only reason we've won this many games. It has nothing to do with BK coaching because he can't.

OM and Bama will be breaking in new QBs. USCe is losing like 30+ players off their roster. Everyone we play will be beatable.

Agree that Kelly is here at least 2 more years before buyouts are even mentioned. I think he at least should be given 5 years too be honest. He has proven he can win at every stop. If he gets fired after 5 years than he has no one to blame but himself. Not sure on Sloan as the OC though.

In order to make the NC, we'll have to. beat 3 top 10 teams in a row (4 in a row to win). I don't have a lot of confidence that CBK can do that.
He can beat anyone once but we win those games at less than a 50% rate which makes the odds of 3 in a row very slim.
