Makes me wonder if Kelly couldn’t trust someone on staff. So he fed some BS to see if the media would pick up on it and he could pinpoint the leak.

Yes, common to request restraining order from selling or spending community assets in a divorce. Basically to prevent things such as a scorned spouse from immediately racking up credit card debt or buying a new car.
