“ 7 is bigger than football. It's about Leadership,
Encouragement, Accountability, and Discipline. I had to
grow into 7 to understand it already had the characteristics
that I was striving for. To be chosen to wear this Legendary
number is an honor. I'm excited to be back on the field with
my brothers and go to work this season. To do it in Number
7 is a true blessing, following in the footsteps of some of
the greatest players in LSU history. Greatness begins now
#/era #7egendary #ciete”

Thoughts?

Does he stay the entire year? He seems to fit the bill of “preparing for draft” bs

If you read his post, you’d realize how stupid this sounds.

Great to see this happen! He needs to model the meaning of the 7 in his actions this year!

I hope the #7 helps Kayson score a record number of TDs, wins a national championship and he becomes the 1st pick in the 2023 draft.

K is a kid who absolutely needs to have tough coaching and he responds well to accountability. I think he plays and has a great season. It doesn’t matter if he likes Kelly or not, he respects him.

Hate it…LSU had to hand out big time $ to keep him from going to Bama.

He’ll quit at the first sign of a struggle, dude can kick rocks

As long as it looks like we're having an 8-4 type year or better and he stays healthy I would definitely think so. Covid, Injuries, and Coach O being fired were really the only reasons for previous opt-outs.

This is a new era with a motivated staff and team. Man, I'm so glad we made the change.

Acronym screams Brian Kelly. It’s obvious the kids are buying into what he is selling.
