Sorry, only threatened to quit once and go to Alabama. Then got called out after getting paid a shite ton.
Crown him 7
Well, to be fair, 7 goes to the most talented/dynamic player usually, not the team captain or best attitude.

Can I get a translation in English please? Tf does “no cap” mean?

I see you have been posting here since August of last year, so it is likely I am much older than you are and have old fashioned ideas about college football and loyalty, in general.
I believe in loyalty to the school, the team and the players by the fans and especially by the the individual players.
If you look at my posting history, I do not believe in sh*tting on players.
AND until I read his interview and heard his own words, Kayshon Boutte was my favorite player on the whole team.
That interview and the surrounding data points tell me his loyalty is to money, not LSU.
And I feel no more loyalty to him. Its all transactional now. He has been paid by Gordon. Good for him.

#7 is cursed Whoever gets it either never finishes the season, under performs or gets hurt

Do we really see this guy playing in November if we’re sitting at 7-3 ?????? Much less the bowl game. Give it someone else

Covid was a new thing then and a ton of players opted out.
Also LSU football was a goddamn disaster. Chase was better staying away from that.
Also, Chase had his draft status locked.
Boutte needs to play this season to improve his status. He could go top 10 or in the middle rounds of the draft.
Chase had nothing to gain by playing. Boutte has everything to gain by playing and a decent amount to lose if he does not.
Also, they are 2 different humans. Chase has an intelligence to him. I can’t say the same for Boutte yet.

"No cap" means like "not gonna lie"

In my book, Chase does not get a pass bc of covid year. I don't hold that against him though. It just seems like a double standard when it comes to him opting out.
To get back on subject though, I'd rather see Boutte stay in #1. LSU has had a few great players wear #1 & I'd like to see Boutte continue that. If I had to bet though, I think we see Boutte in 7

You’re right you don’t quit after pre-injury year, needs All SEC season to be a Top 10 pick or Top 2 WR selection, NFL don’t take flyers on WRs with half season resume.

No cap, he was about to leave lsu 4 different times.
Let the DB’s wear it. They have more passion than our Diva arse wide receivers.

No Cap means I'll wear the number 7, but don't put the letter C on it because I'm not going to be a captain

If you’re good, you’re good in any number. Tired of the 7 clones and wish players would try to make their old numbers the new “7”

Which is why it’s dumb. “Here’s a jersey with a number on it. Now go be perfect, and if you’re ever not the fans will question why you deserve it.”

Yes I agree. It has turned into a curse if anything. LF7’s sophomore year was the last time it didn’t backfire. That was almost a decade ago. We need to let it go.

This guy attempted to transfer to Bama but couldn't because of academics.
Now, he wants to wear #7?
Gimme a break.
