The shadows between the mound and plate up until the 4th-5th inning will be difficult to pick up spin from both lefties.

IMO, whichever team can force the opposing pitcher to throw strikes will ultimately win this game.

you gotta start Pearson and braswell. I just feel like the moment won't be too big and the lefty they're throwing makes it an easy decision.

braswell could get hot out of nowhere. I dont know that reeves has the same chance to get hot ,stage is big for a guy that hasn't had many hits recently and never played on that stage. braswell never played in Omaha but hes a vet

watching clips from last season may have me expecting something from braswell though . he was just so good in the postseason last year. same uppercut swing but it was working

I’m not taking the bat out of Browns hand right now and he’s fast as hell in a big outfield. Pearson will get his shot but I’m giving Jake the start. Bras definitely will get the start even though Reeves had some really hard hit balls in the supers

I don't know if he is elite or not.

Looking at his stats he is damn good, and the ace for one of the best teams in the country.

On top of that, and this is usually a biggie with us, he is LEFT HANDED.

You read wrong. Winds will be from the SSE at 6 MPH. Think in from right center.

I suspect Braswell starts because he is a right handed hitter and Pearson because of his reverse splits on lefties

Not worried about the pitching.

Are we going to hit? Or we having one of those game we go 6 innings without a hit.

Bras absolutely needs to start over Reaves. Pearson will start over Brown. Brown should go in as soon as a RHP relieves. Pearson against righties is almost like Brown vs lefties. And yes, I know Pearson hit a grandslam against a RHP but it was rag arm from WVU that hadn’t pitched since March. We won’t be fortunate enough for Arkansas to throw anyone like that tonight.

Pearson is available on prop betting lines, so Vegas probably already knows the the lineup

Probably not. But they can make logical assumptions just like the rest of us.

First it was Skenes vs Lowder and now it’s Anderson vs Root. Hopefully we’ll see another awesome game with LSU once again coming out on top.

Root pitched better against lsu last time than kade did against arkansas. Arkansas, when you look at the metrics is an ever so slightly better team than lsu, and arkansas hits .350 vs lefties. Lsu hits .273 vs lefties. Thats why

Then we need to go for deep grounders in the gap instead of swinging for the fence every time. Sounds like a recipe for pop up disaster.

Pearson has to start, he may hit leadoff . hes got the best ba on the team vs lefties. if we take brown out the lineup we're lucky to have Pearson be the guy that replaces him. that's quality depth
