Whitt helped Joe go through his rehab and stayed at his house. They both watched Chase get drafted to the Bengals at Whitworths house. Joe would kill to have Whit protecting his blindside.

Jefferson has never been accused of being smart.

He's bright/clever, but not incredibly aware.

A lot of people were not pleased with how Whitworth handled the refs gifting them a Super Bowl trip at the Saints’ expense. In fairness, it had to be hard on Rams players on knowing how to handle such an awkward situation. They were in the Super Bowl, but everyone knew they shouldn’t have been. Andrew tried to rationalize it and it sounded bad. Nothing compared to being the Walter Payton Man of the Year. Great cap to an incredible NFL career.

He was a big meany when the Rams knocked the Saints out of the playoffs two years ago and Saints fans are still butthurt about it.

You have that wrong. The REFS and That cretin commissioner knocked the Saints out of the SB. Most egregious no call ever.
I’ve been a Saints fan from day one . Hated the Rams way back and that game insured that will never change.

Read Steveo's post. That's how you turn your back on a Tiger legend. Hope after last night, when Whit delivered a speech for the ages after being named the NFL Man of The Year, you are ashamed of yourself.

He said it's no big deal for a 22yo to have forgotten a player an entire generation apart at a non-skill position is still in the league. What's the issue?

Why would I be ashamed that a guy I admire gave me more reason to admire him? Are you on drugs?

To be fair, I was born in 1993 and I would be hard pressed to know more than a few players off those teams.

However, LSU had some teams that were very....VERY forgettable then.

Why do read malice into the omission? Jefferson was just a toddler when Whitworth played. I’m sure Justin would have corrected this had he known. Some people are always looking for outrage.

We also have 59 on active rosters, no former player is keeping up with that census

Who gives a shite?

Burrow forgot to mention Clyde in his Heisman speech. Dipshits on this board get more offended by this stuff than the people actually involved
