He turned it over both times his team gave him a chance to lead them back at the end. Trust me, we don’t want that guy especially operating our new system.

SO the WR cutting off his route at the end of the game is Justin Fields fault? Probably would've been a TD if Olave continues on his route. You sir are fricking stupid.

I just finished watching the game and he was not the reason they lost, they had awful playcalling when they got into the redzone which led to 3 field goals. Ryan Day screwed that game up himself.

My point is many people on here are riding so high on Brennan when he has still yet to prove a damn thing. He’s waited his turn that’s cool and all but come on. If a freaking heisman finalist says he’s transferring to LSU then move over Myles.

I guess all the NFL scouts that are ranking him in the top 10 for next year know that he's garbage too? lmao you are a fricking idiot

I know right, damn I can't believe I just said "I know right ",frick what the hell is wrong with me.......

Anyway, dudes stats are legendary already after not starting but for one year . I find it hilarious that ,user madking thinks he knows more then talent evaluators ,scouts ,and people that see him everyday in person at practice. Came out as a stud recruit as well

Why do you want that he's not coming down to LSU. do you want to make another SEC team better?

NFL scouts didn’t rank him there, those are college magazines and hype outlets who do this with low round picks every single year. What are you 12? You can keep putting words in my mouth if you feel like it but I’ll bet you whatever you want he won’t be a top 5 pick and I’ll bet you again he won’t be an NFL starter other than someone giving him a look. The guy can’t play, sorry I watch the actual games and don’t evaluate players by reading magazines designed to hype certain teams lol. What a clown.

Lmfao!! He’s the only reason they lost that game. You put any other playoff QB on that team and they beat Clemson by 30+. I called it back in November, I bet it and Fields did exactly what I said he would. You don’t know shite lil boy.

I would go after him if he is willing to back up Brennan this year and then can compete with JOhnson and Finley and Nuss next season for starting spot (if Brennan leaves after this season). Could get some good PT this season as a special situations package QB just to throw a change up at defenses and give them more to prepare for. Or, if he still has an unused redshirt year, could redshirt this year and be the QB in waiting (till Brennan leaves). He would be a very big pickup for this team and we should go after him hard, as he could be our QB of the future and be good competition for Finley, Nuss, JOhnson.

This is not true, even on a surface level.

we could use the experience to allow the freshman time to get comfortable
By bringing in a new QB who doesn't know the offense and would have extremely limited time frame to learn the playbook and get comfortable with his new receivers? And with no cupcake OOC games to open the season with and work out the kinks.

Fields didn't lose that game. Dobbins dropped not one but two certain TD passes in the red zone early in the game. Olave cut off his route which caused the last interception.

Fields was limited because of a leg injury suffered earlier in the season so he became one-dimensional. He ran very rarely in the latter part of the season due to the injury. Add the Dobbins ankle injury in the Clemson game and the offense became gimped.

I don't even want to think about the scoop and score that was reversed late in the game.

I'm just assuming you didn't watch the game because anyone who watched it knew Fields did well. Ohio State had like 2 dropped TDs and some questionable playcalling in the red zone at times. Justin Fields still went 30-46 and had 320 Yards on one of the top defenses in the country.

Ranking the 6 top landing spots for Justin Fields

quote:

1. LSU Tigers

This one is so obvious that it almost doesn’t even need to be said. LSU are the reigning National Champions but they lost the heart of that title run, quarterback Joe Burrow, to the draft. Head coach Ed Orgeron and the Tigers coaching staff appear confident in his replacement, Myles Brennan.

But at the same time, Brennan isn’t Burrow. Frankly, neither is Fields. It’s an impossible task to ask any player to replicate possibly the greatest single season by a college quarterback in history. But Fields has a much higher likelihood of coming close after what we saw at Ohio State last year than the unproven Brennan.

LSU has an elite wide receiver group to aid Fields in his plight while also possessing a top-end pipeline of talent on defense. If Fields were to transfer to Baton Rouge and lead the Tigers back to the College Football Playoff, that would be another terrific narrative, one that the quarterback is more than capable of writing.

Didn't field spurn us for Georgia? I have to agree, it's Brennan's team.

Joe Burrow didn’t do a damn thing in college football until his first start at LSU. Why do think Brennan can’t do the same thing but every other QB can?

And 7 points, 2 turnovers after Dobbs got hurt lol. Back to back giveaways when his team put him in position to win the game, outscored 29-7 after Dobbs got hurt. Lol yea he was awesome. It looks like you watched the box score instead of the game.
