He transferred from Georgia because of a Racist Hee Haw, he wants y to leave OSU because they’re not playing Football during his Senior season, so yes I trust him. Myles Brennan has been here 3 years, Justin McMillian had the same claim when Joe Burrow showed up on campus, maybe we should have rode with McMillian.

Kiper Mcshay both have him as the #2 qb.Lol You really said If watched him play you know he wasn't gooo. What were you in the band a beater or a blower? Also yall have lost yall mind if yall dont want Fields . We ended Brennan season his sr year and we blitzed hit him over and over. He folded can't stand getting hit! I hope im wrong he just doesn't have that Dog in him and that can't be taught you have it or you don't!

Lol no wonder you idiots buy anything the media pumps. He’s not accurate, he doesn’t have a great arm, he’s not a threatening runner and he’s a poor decision maker. It doesn’t matter if they call his number from the 2 yard line vs Rutgers, that’s an empty stat. You don’t know anything about football.

Agree, we definitely don’t want our prospects hinging on Fields ability to carry the offense with his ability to throw it. People can talk about stats but put on the tape and you’ll see a guy who can’t make accurate throws especially against good coverage. You’ll also see a guy with limited attempts both throwing and running it in an offense that threw the ball 15% less than ours. Brennan is the better fit and has more upside as a QB. These hype evals people keep repeating happen with average players from elite programs every year. Fields has 0 chance of being a top 2 pick in the NFL draft unless he makes unprecedented improvements in every aspect of his game.

I wouldn't go that far. A lot of mocks have him in that area. I do agree that he won't be successful in the NFL unless he improves because I don't think what he does translates well to an NFL offense right now, but NFL scouts drool over athletes like him so I wouldn't put his chances at zero. It also depends on who's drafting at that spot (assuming Trevor Lawrence goes #1) and whether or not they need a QB. Based on what I'm seeing, it appears as if there won't be a ton of options to draft at that position in 2021. Hell right now I'm seeing Jamie Newman in the top 20 in some mocks and a kid from North Dakota State. Seems it could be pretty slim pickings.

Sure that’s possible and i see the same projections but I’ve also seen guys like Travone Boykin graded as the top QB prospect the summer before his final year in college. I’ve also see “whoever is Ohio States QB” as the 4th ranked pre-season Heisman pick one year. No joke Athlon had it as an actual Heisman prediction. Look at how off they were just last season with guys like Burrow and Fromm. Point being that this happens a lot and then changes completely once the real evaluators start looking at players, especially with players from regional blue bloods.

Ok now what did Brennan do in the playoffs.... or any game that meant something these last 3 years

How many snaps would Fields have gotten if he were at LSU the last two years?

Not being as good as a top 5 pick like Justin Fields despite the imagination of some rantards who are cool with just going to the Citrus Bowl since we won it last year and think we should accept just having a solid season in 2020 because we owe it to a kid that’s a famous NOLA restaurant legacy for his loyalty of holding a clipboard for 3 years rather than transferring to Southern Miss.

How do we know that Brennan is only capable of taking us to the Citrus Bowl? He's been sitting behind the number 1 pick in the draft and another 5th year senior that got drafted when he was a true freshman. Being that this will be hia second year in this offense and considering how much ground Fields would have to make up, it's not crazy to think that Brennan could be a better fit than Fields at LSU.

Actually a 6th round pick beat him out last year. And we don’t bring in Burrow if he didn’t prove to be mediocre in 2018. Just a fact

Burrow got beaten out by a QB that was undrafted and then was able to win 10 games as 4th year JR in an archaic offense after only being here for fall camp. It's not as if this is an unprecedented situation.

So we’re just creating fantasy narratives and outcomes now?
