Great pickup. Only a sophomore and he had 15 against San Fran in the 1st round of the tourney and 19 against St. Peters.

The thinking by some of you people on here is really juvenile.
You can label me a Wade fanboy. Even still I think we should have told the NCAA to go kick rocks and stuck with Wade and what he was building here. I'm cautiously optimistic that McMahon will be better than I thought.
That being said, I have been an LSU football and basketball fan since 1977. As much as I hate it, Wade is gone. I BLEED PURPLE & GOLD. I don't think McMahon will be as good here compared to were Wade was taking us. But guess what??? I am ONE BILLION PERCENT behind our current coach, and I hope he makes me fLucking eat a barrel of crow. Because I love LSU, and want us to be as good as possible in the two major sports.
That's what some people on here don't get. I think most Wade supporters are pissed like me, but hope to be wrong about McMahon. I don't need to be right about my opinions on coaching matters. I need LSU to win as much as possible.

You guys are getting a good one. While he only wanted to play basketball, I honestly believe he is better at football.

I think MM is a much better bench coach than WW.It
remains to be seen if he can recruit (or cheat ) as
