Trey Palmer forward progress was not stopped and the ATM guy just took the ball.

But, LSU got a call. Just a little makeup for one of those terrible calls in the 74 to 72 OT game.

Refs have a thing about not letting players hold someone up while the other steals the ball.

The whistle was the key and likely is what stopped the play
It's why it was probably not reviewed to begin with
At this point, who cares. A&M got the benefit in that overtime game. You live with it!

That play was dead 30 seconds before the ball was stripped.

LSU led for 3 quarters, having a double digit lead several times. Point being, we were playing well enough to win, just enough but enough. One call did not win or lose that game. How about all the dropped passes we had? etc etc etc

Forward progress calls are not reviewable, so they could not challenge or review.

OP should write a sternly worded letter to the SEC offices

You get some calls that go your way and some that don’t.

That’s why you win some and you lose some.

We’ve lost some to the aggies, but Saturday night was a win. That’s just the way it goes

This or it could happen on almost all plays.

All of the calls in that game were correct except the last PI. Unless you're a homer.

Watching it live I thought they were going to give ATM the ball. His forward progress was definitely stopped. I didn’t hear the whistle though.

The play was considered dead before the strip so it doesnt matter. They cant go back and give the ball away after calling the play dead previously. Cant assume all players just kept playing through it, especially the ball carrier if play was considered dead.

The ball was stripped well before the whistle blew.

Just be sure to sign it Nicholas L. Saban for an expedited review and overturn.

No, ATM got stupid and stopped rushing 4 on the final drive until we were in striking distance.

We got screwed in the OT game over there, so I don't care about a missed call, but I watched the play a few times and the first audible whistle came well after the ball was taken.
