Yeah but if that’s not called in real time it doesn’t even go to replay

Batter was not in the box

Cooper struck the batter out before that pitch

Umps sucks for both sides but damn that was ugly

Time to get a crooked number

This right here. No freaking way the ump was able to see the bat hit the glove in real time. No. Freaking. Way.

But with or without replay it was the correct call.

That is catcher interference

Which wouldn’t have happened without 4 prior strikes down the middle being called balls.

Interference? Yes.

Batter's back foot behind the batter's box puts him closer to the catcher as well.

Isn't there a rule you must be in the box?

No he probably heard it and the replay proved he was right.

Now there is the argument but that’s been the zone pretty much all season in the SEC for us.

That's my question. If the catcher is in his box and the batter swings into the catchers box, then why is that catcher's interference? Does he not have the right to catch the ball without the batter knocking the glove out of his hand?

So y’all really think he just randomly called catcher’s interference knowing that is a reviewable play and he was going to be proven right?

You are right he probably didn’t see it but he probably heard it.

It’s the right call. Doesn’t mean you can’t be irrationally mad about it

You can’t even tell 100% on the replay it hit. So how can you possibly confirm it?

And if you don’t see it then you don’t call it. How often do we hear from officials on missed calls say “I didn’t see it”

Why aren’t we complaining about potentially striking out 15-20 times this game that should be the story at least to this point or the fact that Skenes looked just above avg to good not great……outside of a mental error by the catcher Cooper was Ok.

Sure you can be mad but you can’t straight up lie and say it was the incorrect call like people are in this thread.
