The still shot isn’t goaltending. He grabs the rim on the way down as the ball is going downward as well.
That is, by rule, defensive goaltending.

Def interference if goal is shook and effects shot. Mayes shoot was effected by goal shaking.

That is a call that can go either way , as far as shoot was affected . Goal looked to be shaking to me . Just my opinion

How does he know it didn’t alter the outcome of the shot? The backboard was shaking.
