They neglected at some point and want to feel like they matter.
Same with recruits IMO. If you good, then you'll get to the league. Most go to bama for a ring and charger.

CajunBama is the poster on the SECr that I cant understand. How could you be cajun and DESPISE LSU as much as he does? I'm gonna throw a wild guess out there and say he was a huge LSU fan in the early to mid 2000's.

Seriously y’all. Don’t let these people bother you. They literally never go to games. Didn’t go to UA or even spent time in AL aside from orange beach. Don’t own much if any attire besides a tee shirt and a script A on their vehicle.

One of my best friends is an Alabama fan from Louisiana.
However he actually went to Alabama from undergrad until his masters. I'll talk shite to him but I respect his fandom.
