Also experienced the most heartbreaking losses in person. I had a front row seat with PP7 interception that wasn’t, 2011 do-over in the natty and the Yeldon screen (yeldon screen pass hurt the most by far)

I recently went on a college tour of Alabama and I lament what they were able to do with their campus with all the money brought in by the football program under Saban. Had Saban stayed at LSU, LSU would have benefited in the same fashion.

That’s exactly how LSU got its updated Academic Center for Athletes, separate football facility, and Rec Center with the lazy river and all.

So this story, it happened the Sunday or Monday after lsu played at Arizona. On the way back after dominating Arizona, plane troubles caused lsu to land in Houston. LSU was stuck on the tarmac in Houston for hours which messed up saban’s schedule (think it was related to recruiting but been a while). Deacon Dan Borne walks into the football offices and can hear Saban chewing someone’s arse. Deacon Dan thinks it’s some player that screwed up off the field and thinks nothing of it. As he is passing back by, it stops and the door opens. Skip comes walking out with his head down. Saban was upset LSU/Skip couldn’t figure out how to get him back sooner.
