From a person I used to work with. She asked if I wanted to work the sidelines (making sure no one jumps on the field) during the NC game. I wouldn't be able to watch the game per se, but would be on the field.

Would you go for it? (Also pays 10 bucks an hour; starting at 3pm)

If you can't get a ticket to the game I'd take it in a heartbeat I'm sure you could sneak peeks back at the game

I'd do it...but I wouldn't pay attention to the crowd.

sure, if that's the only way I could be there. You can Tivo it for later.. You'd be part of the event and that's pretty cool. And when your supervisor isn't looking, ditch your yellow windbreaker and sneak off to watch the game

Only if it came with a parking pass !!!!! Walk 17 miles from car to dome only to stand up for 7 hours then walk back !! NOT WORTH IT !

Worst thing that could happen is you wouldn't be asked to do it again. Not like getting fired from a 1-day gig is a big deal. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

I don't get why event people constantly look at the fans.

If the flying cup hits the endzone, is someone 30 yards away really going to see who did it?

Just film the entire bowl....it'd be cheaper than hiring man hours and more effective (evidence in footage).
