Lmfaoo Jalen Cook hasn’t played since Feb 13th and you know Mike Williams isn’t really a capable point guard. That’s disingenuous as frick

If you would have told me we would be 9 and 9 in SEC play year 2 after the way Wade was fired and the entire team quit, I would have asked for some of what you are obviously having. Coach MM has a long way to go, namely having a better team next season than he has this one. But the man can coach. If he ever loads up on talent (that is all in) he is going to be dangerous.

I think that’s the biggest question mark is can he consistently get top tier talent to put a consistent product on the court

5 guys who could initiate offense

There are lineups we have had to run out there due to lack of depth that end up with us running DHOs with Dean and Fountain because we have no capable PG and you seriously typed this out lol

. Of over 12,000 pick and roll plays in CBB this season, the lowest scoring % on that play is when the PG takes the shot which is why most college teams are playing drop coverage right now

Would love this statistic broken further down based on 3-2 vs 1-3-1 vs 2-3 vs m2m defense. I think drop coverage is viable for a lot of MBB defenses but I think an issue in SEC play is that if there’s no hedge the guards in SEC play are three level scorers and can shoot or dribble drive. Perhaps that ability isn’t present at the mid to low major level as frequently?

Additionally, I believe when our 5 hedges McMahon trusts our 4 (Reed, Fountain) to slide on the penetration due to our bigs slow hedge. Because of this we tend to leave the far corners open. And in general our players sag off of the weak side corner. Today especially we had our entire defense focused on the strong side.

I think his point is had we not bent the knee to the toothless NCAA we would be in a better position than we are now.

And I agree. Scott was scared and weak.

Many say that Scott was being threatened with a football investigation, so he wisely toed the line on the MUCH less important sport.

Nimrod, the NCAA is TOOTHLESS, and has been for at least the last 5 years.

There are only TWO scenarios that make sense in how Woodward mishandled the Wade situation.

1) He's helping his father in law/ex husband/BFF, (whatever the fLuck he is), Mark Emmert peel some of the egg off of his face from the DISASTROUS AND INCOMPETENT job he did from "leading" the NCAA. At least Mark can claim he got a scalp in cleaning up the cesspool that is college basketball recruiting, which is LAUGHABLE.

2) He doesn't know how to read the room, and fails to realize that the NCAA has ZERO POWER in reality, and cowers like a little bitch thinking he'll save football from these imaginary sanctions that loomed over us.

The administrations WITH BALLS (you are liberal, so you won't be able to relate to this) Bama, Tennessee, Kansas (among others), tell the NCAA to go fLuck right on off, publicly and/or privately, and the NCAA goes and cowers in the corner like the little bitches they are as a result.

I have to believe/hope scenario #1 is the path Scott chose in his mishandlement of the Wade situation.

Well it’s certainly a step in the right direction from last place.

So, Mrs. Lincoln, other than your husband being assassinated how was the play?
