If you need LSU themed shoes, these are the ones..put purple laces on them if you want and you are good to go . (dont like the pegasus not a fan of a primary purple shoe)

I stopped wearing Nike in 2014. New Balance is the way to go.

I will be sort of brave with you guys. If there is a reasonable way to avoid giving money to Nike, Disney, etc. I'm all for it. No reason to financially support the spread of hateful and racist ideology, trans'ing the kids, etc. Nike is pretty easy to avoid as an average grown white man.

I quit getting them when they made the gold look orange. These aren’t bad. May have to get a new pair.

Anybody who wears a piece of clothing with a Nike swoosh on it is directly supporting the communist Chinese party and slave labor. Some things are more important than sporting the latest fashion. Just in case you didn't know.

Did you come up with that hash tag all by yourself? Pretty sure they won’t go broke because they lost your business. Nice try bud.

How is Nike ever going to make it without the old white guys from the south boycotting them?

I’ve bought so many pairs of Nike cleats for my son, 4 or so pairs a year for the last few…1 or two for 4 years before that. $150-225 a pop. He destroys them impressively. Literally pulls them apart on his kicking foot. He’s got a narrow foot and the SG cleats are just perfect for him. frick.

Yep, Nike is having a hard time keeping the lights on these days with their 40-50 billion in revenues

My guess is you don’t quite grasp the Nike demographic, globally, and therefore are the one that has much to learn.

Can complain all you want about Nike and China and child labor. That is all valid.

But there is no doubt that the right wing southern boycott is not moving the needle for them.

Q2 of 2021 (as an example) was a record quarter for them amid the boycott. The polarization helps them. You buy less, the other side buys more.

Grow up Dude and take your politics (and I’m a fraking proud conservative, myself), and keep’em to yourself!

Why does every a-hole suddenly seem to feel the need to inject their political views into a conversation about something like football these days?!! If you don’t like and/or support Nike or Tesla or My Pillow or ADM or Exxon, that’s great and God Bless You for at least having an opinion, but for the love of God, the insisting on injecting your personal political opinions into every conversation, even though it ain’t about politics is getting irritating as hell! Especially if you’re in a profession where that’s part of the job all day at work!

LSU football is a passion for a lot of us and a haven from the bullshite of the outside world. Until the last 3 seasons, LSU fans and alumni could all pretty much check politics & religion at the door, but some of you guys will not let it be like that since about 2019, and insist on trying to constantly turn a discussion about LSU into one about your politics! It’s gotten so ridiculous that groups of lifelong friends have stopped tailgating and traveling to away game together after years simply because one or two selfish pricks who insist on acting like you, and the rest drop out because what was always a chance to relax with friends is always a damn political argument! I know of four groups that have now called it quits for this reason alone and that’s truly pitiful!

Trust me, I’ve got views and opinions concerning politics, religion, society, economics, law and healthcare and some of those views a very personal and the basis for some strong personal convictions. Some of those views most folks agree with, but others don’t. But I have the common courtesy and simple respect for other folks to refrain from insisting on injecting them into a conversation about something like tiger football because it’s probably gonna end with somebody angry or offended when the discussion had started out about something we all love and enjoy, LSU!

Brother, I know you probably won’t even think about this, and that’s fine, but at least I feel better! ??

Oh yeah, I bought a pair of the new Nikes directly from the company in July when they first came out, and workout in them 5 or 6 days a week. Probably the best cross trainer I’ve owned!

GEAUX TIGERS!!!
