Just don't put them on the roster

If it's truly a one-off situation, it's not worth any potential sanctions down the line. It just isn't.
I think I'm seeing in real time the mentality that gets people into road rage incidents. You're talking about adding two guys for depth with a potential down the road forfeit.
If the upside was there I'd say fight. It's just not worth it.
Anyone saying that it's too late, or it's the principle, or you never back down are just acting impulsively at this point because they feel offended and don't know how to deal with their feelings.
Queue the "pussy" comments, just know you're wrong. Do with that what you will.

Dude. LSU isnt doing anything wrong. The SECs position and demeanor towards LSU is unacceptable.

If the judge says we can’t, then we won’t. If he says we can then we will. The SEC has no standing here from what I gather and we haven’t done anything against the rules as of yet

Why would they have to forfeit? Either they get eligibility or they don't.
Alabama basketball did not have to forfeit or vacate the five games that former professional player Charles Bediako played in.
I'm not calling anyone a pussy, but I don't understand worrying about forfeits. I just don't. Didn't Michigan straight up cheat and win a Natty? Did they forfeit anything? NCAA has ruled several players ineligible only for them to get a judge to allow them to play. What has happened to those schools?

While I agree with you.., if we don’t roster them Ole Miss or someone else will. We weren’t bidding against ourselves for their services. The players have more ground to stand on due to the timing of the 5 for 5 ruling not to mention the NCAA screwing up yet again by not including those class of 22 kids have their 5th year.

Or, do what they’re doing and wait to see how this plays out in court first before making any decisions. Did Ole Miss distance themselves from Trinidad Chambliss whenever the NCAA ruled him ineligible? No. You can sit here and bleed out of your vagina because of what the media is saying, but that doesn’t change the fact that you are irrational by closing the door on these kids before any official judgement is made.
