No way he leaves LSU for Arkansas.
Several hundred posts later, this was always the case.

DiNardo recruited well. Did he win 80+% of his games at LSU?

Not reading the whole thread but, this falls on Alleva. Give your coach the raise and extension after he's completed the greatest regular season in LSU history. Then, Miles doesn't have to strong arm you into getting a raise.
This should've been done last year when we finished #1 in the SEC.

OP probably voted for Obama

But the way he handled this does not sit well. He leveraged the Arky offer just like he did Michigan a couple of years go
And you know this how?
He went to Arkansas and suggested that they make an offer to him and then he went to LSU and told them Arkansas is offering me 5 mil a year?
He then held a gun to Joe's head untill Joe said, we will give you 4.25 min to stay?
That how you think it went down?
This stuff happens all the time.
Get over it.

So if everybody can recruit to LSU,then it must be coaching that got him to a winning percentage of +80%? (unlike any other coach in the history of LSU football)
not just talent like some on this board would have you believe

I just don't like guys who post with their vagina. frick it is business. Joe said the raise was his plan all along. Perhaps not, but really who cares.

1. Any school wanting a good football team would put Miles on their "If we get the chance to get them" list.
2. In '07 it was Michigan because the ESPN media loved the "Les Miles, Michigan Man" connection.
3. This year Arkansas realized they had greatness and could lose it. They had to make an offer for somebody, they would have made the same for Saban if Bama came off a less-than-expected 10-2.
4. Saban. Saban gave up something good when he left here. He could have been LSU's Bowden, Paterno (sic), or Bryant. He left. Miles still has the opportunity to have his name engraved in the history books. Is about 20 years or so, provided he is still here and doesn't become a part of some massive sex/bounty scandal, there will likely be serious consideration in renaming Death Valley to Les Miles Stadium (Or something)
5. CLM is a massive troll, I point to everything that's happened as proof.

CLM was getting a raise anyway ( market)
Pigs are in a bad place not finding a head man this late in the game. They raised the bar ,we will all see the good coaches get more money. If CLM went there we still would have to pay
To stay on top!!

I don't care how we win!
But I do care if we lose!
CLM wins alot!
Where do we hire a current coach
To do that?? For 3.7 mill

He was never going to Arkansas. There was no reason to give him a raise and a contract extension. None! Arkansas was a step down not up. If he was going to go anywhere it was to Michigan. Les Miles ain't going anywhere.... Ever!
Absolutely!! Too bad gutless Alleva couldn't see that.

I love how Miles is an idiot on the field, but a shrewd, cold, calculating businessman off of it.
They're tards among us.
