I like miles and am happy he is at LSU. But the way he handled this does not sit well. He leveraged the Arky offer just like he did Michigan a couple of years go. I'd rather he earn these offers via the contract he agrees to. Just my 2c. Flame away as usual.

It's how most get a raise......nothing more than market value.

Judging from your handle, I would suspect you could appreciate greed.

So your saying that he made a fake offer from Arkansas to get a raise? Dude get over it. It is business like it or not. The man was offered what Arkansa rhought was his worth and LSU countered it and he accepted. Nothing wring with that at all. Every coach does it no matter how great or bad they are.

You would never do such a thing, right?

He didn't tell them he wasn't interested either. No way he leaves LSU for Arkansas.

I think that's the mark of a savvy businessman.

I don't blame him at all for grabbing everything he can while he's still got the ability to do so.

I don't understand the whole point in us doing so. He'd be insane to leave LSU.

Thanks for the permission

Teams come calling for him, and you bitch and complain?

If another employer wants you for the work you do, and you like your company, you don't take advantage of that for a new contract?

Don't give me any of this, "If I were a millionaire it wouldn't be about the money" bullshite. You aren't a millionaire because you aren't a business man. Everything is about business, and business is money.

I don't have a problem with it, and I cant believe the outrage over it. Its fricking America people, its the American way. Work hard, succeed, create opportunities for yourself and your family, and capitalize on those opportunities.

heard one take on it on sports radio ... said that maybe Arky talked about it to let other potential candidates know that they're willing to pay for a big name ... so that would mean they kinda used Les.

Also, said Arky is always a pain in the side on that game every year ... just like to needle us a little more.

idk

He was never going to Arkansas. There was no reason to give him a raise and a contract extension. None! Arkansas was a step down not up. If he was going to go anywhere it was to Michigan. Les Miles ain't going anywhere.... Ever!

come on man really???!! So if another company in your career field offered you a job you wouldn't use that to get more money at your current position? Its the way capitalism works.
