I thought Michael Divinity was as good as Patrick Queen, but there was a lot of difference in their success in the draft. Did Michael have a behavior problem? And if so, does that make that much difference to the NFL people?

He had a drug problem that got him suspended for the biggest stretch of the season. Huge red flags.

Not to be an arse but you must not have been following this team throughout the season. I’d say going into the start of the season you could probably debate on who was better. Divinity spent all season dealing with character issues or let’s just be frank more the likely a drug issues!

On the flip side Queen worked his arse off stayed straight and made it happen on the field so his stock rose tremendously!

It just goes to show you between Queen and Burrow what hard work and one season of success can do!

Queen is much faster than him and covers more ground. Divinity was a good LB though and was good at blitzing the QB as well. If he can focus and not have any off-the-field issues, he could make a team and be productive. He had bad combine numbers and ran a slow 40, but he is a good player.

Wow, given the difference in the draft positions, behavior or potential drug problems matter a lot to the NFL people and can cost an athlete a ton of money...

4.8 40 yard dash will be the down fall for any LB.

Sometimes it doesn't take a behavioral problem to make that much difference. Ask La'el Collins how a RUMOR plunged his draft stock.

It was a rumor left the team prior to the Bama game? We need to get that SOB who started it.

You misread my post. In terms of the rumor statement I made, it was pertaining to La'el Collins NOT Michael Divinity. Divinity made his bed and now he has to suffer the consequences of his choices. La'el Collins did everything the RIGHT WAY. Yet, he plunged to an UDFA because he dated the young lady that was murdered.

Therefore, my statement is sometimes shite happens beyond your control and it doesn't have to be because you had behavioral issues because Collins has ZERO issues.

Served 9 games (3 then 6 more) on suspension out of 15 for failed drug tests twice in one season...
