The reason anybody our offense was successful last year is because we brought in a fresh innovative mind in Joe Brady. Bringing bo back 13 years later was a backwards move, not progress

Yeah cause now every defense just drops 8 in coverage and they can't find anyone to throw. They could run the ball at will if they chose to but Leach will never commit to it.

I don’t think the players could have come up with a worse scheme than Pelini did, meaning if he didn’t show up that day LSU would have been in a better situation.

This is a cop out. The majority of the guys on LSU’s defense didn’t even have Kentucky or Arkansas type programs as fall back schools. Both defenses made State and Leach look foolish. It’s not talent. It’s scheme. If Leach got to pick what defense the opposing team gets to run he would have chosen something similar to what Pelini deployed.
