A suspended player would most likely not be taking reps with the starters.

This sucks but happens every year. What sucks worse is players being mentioned by our own fans as likely candidates...I would be pissed if my name was mentioned and I wasn’t getting suspended

I was wondering the same thing, but by the responses it looks like football. More than 1 game suspension won't be some minor BS like missing classes or curfew violations, it will be something a little more serious, IMHO. Hate to go this way, but failed drug test may be it, just hope it isn't for PED's. Then we're talking about several games to a season. Kristian Fulton was suspended for, what, 2 years for cheating on a drug test? Damn, hope one of the players isn't him.

If it's a 6 game suspension that's an NCAA infraction with an automatic 6 game suspension minimum.

If suspensions go down, I will believe,Vol. He says things that you can take two ways. So he says a lot of things without saying anything. Do I think he is legit ,I do to a point. Down vote away and have a nice day. And

Let's say we no longer suspend players for testing positive for pot. A player shows up for practice still high but undetected by the staff. Subsequently, his inhibitions are diminished so he goes in hard with the crown of the helmet and breaks his neck. It's discovered and confirmed by medical staff that he had marijuana in his system when the injury occurred. LSU fricked.

Well they don’t test them before every practice, so your hypothetical exists every day. Unless you believe that the policy is keeping the other 80+ from smoking at all, in which case I have prime real estate on the moon to sell you
