I love herring but Cowan has been better than herring. He’s been as good as Kevin kopps was for Arkansas a couple years ago and should be in the lead for reliever of the year.

Yep a RH Griffen herring is right

I thought Shores would have a really quick hook yesterday because we weren’t hitting. Allowing him to give up 3 runs in 2 innings was crazy.
I don't give a rat's arse about individual accomplishments-personal stats. I only care about the TEAM and TEAM VICTORY'S. All you Cheerleaders just trying to deflect and pull the attention away from THE TEAM getting their asses wiped at Auburn. That's Baseball, We'll be Fine and all that claptrap BS, huh?

That was a pretty quick hook

And still not starting, having to come in the 2nd or 3rd inning to bailout shores. Just make him the Sunday starter.
I was in favor of keeping Cowan where he is and letting Shores work it out. That seemed fine the last two weeks as Shores seemed to get his shite together, but even when he’s done the job, he’s still had shaky moments. Cowan is just a fricking machine. We win yesterday if he starts.
I would love to see this move made this weekend to give Cowan some time to adjust to the role. And it would give Shores time to figure out his spot in the pen.

Good to know you know as little about baseball as you do about football. Which is to say absolutely nothing.

Semjase once again reveals that he was a band guy and not a sports guy.
I knew plenty of people in TGBFTL who could run rings around this fricking loser across all sports. He is not representative of what people in band, especially at LSU, know about football, baseball, hoops, etc.

You show time and time again that you clearly don’t know shite about baseball
I hate to be that guy, but have you ever played? And if so, what level?

Or just use him in WHATEVER situation you need your best guy on the mound...IF you need him before Sunday out him in. If not, or if he has only thrown a few pitches, let him go Sunday to start

Friday - Anderson
Saturday - Cowan
Sunday - Evans
Start the best.
Championship

Jay has a decision to make on Cowan. Make him a starter or keep him in the pen. I think he keeps him in the pen. But Eyanson and Shores will both have short leashes the rest of the way.

will wade is shite at basketball, didn't play in high school. you think he doesn't know the game?
nobody cares you played sports as a kid. it doesn't make you a better analyst than anyone Else. Vin Scully didn't play baseball, you think he doesn't know it?

I'll give you credit, you're consistently retarded.

So you’re saying that real life experience in something doesn’t make someone better?

He's going to be the key fourth starter come tournament time.

better at what? commenting and analysis?
correct that's exactly what I am saying,, the best sportswriters and commenters are generally journalists, not athletes. like John Clayton, he was the NFL master on ESPN, brilliant. not an athlete.
you think for example you know better than mel kiper on draft stuff because you played for Ponchatoula high? you know more than bill James on baseball because you played for Delgado CC?
take your stupid playing career and shove it up your arse, it means jack shite

John Clayton low key rocking a pony tail behind his Mr Mackey bubble head is one of the weirdest flexes in human history. And I’m for it.
