This and every sports dude with a podcast or column is going to use the LSU situation to fill a time slot or space. At this time of the process these people know nothing - they are just keeping the conversation going because that is what they do... converse.

Well when you have the last 3 coaches that were at LSU win a national championship it speaks for itself ! Me personally you get the right guy in here look out ! If saban would have stayed he would have had 10 titles ?? that’s how good this job is I think it’s the best job in college football but I’m a homer !

Which is also why OU should be concerned about joining the SEC. Also why I think he would leave OU to come to LSU. Better talent, especially defensively. Someone said OU had better national brand than LSU. LSU with a nationally branded HC absolutely would out-recruit OU once they join the SEC.
I still wish LSU would just hire Freeze.

I want it to be Lane. Say what you want about his personality but you know you’ll always have a good offense and a good QB. As long as he makes a strong DC hire, which should be a job guys beat the door down, he will be a major threat to Saban. Lane with LSU talent at WR and QB would have Saban more worried than any other coach/team in the SEC.

Riley's not leaving OU, you guys are high. Kiffin would take the job if offered. I think he would kill it here.
