Well, let's be honest. Right. now, LSU hasn't proved anything. We were middle of the road last year and year before. Wasted Jayden Daniels.
And Kalen Deboer has? He was given a golden roster like Les in 05 and still lost 4 games. Why people still continue to defend Pate on this board is beyond me, he has some good takes but he’s no different than any other clown with microphone talking SEC football. He’s always going to say positive things about A&M because Academy pays for his show and the bama love needs no further explanation. It’s like yall forget he was defending the bama LB who knocked Daniels out of the game in ‘23 in T-Town calling it clean.

"A bama homer"............she had a job in Saban's athletic dept. while they were dating & his show was just taking off. He never said a word about her job.

She graduated from LSU

He doesn’t even have LSU in the playoffs.

It’s okay a lot of people are going to be put on notice soon.

I saw him in a video on the field after we beat Clemson for the Natty.

He was clearly disappointed and not happy about the outcome

Guys like this who cover stuff on a regional or national scale are never right.

Anyone who does what he does knows they’ll rarely be right. They guess. They’re prepared and expect to guess wrong, so I wonder why people get so triggered by them, like it’s personal or something.

why do you spend even one second worrying about stuff like this? It's just clickbait.

Nobody knows anything at this point.

Play the games, then we'll all know.

Not that crazy. Bama has players. Picking them with a new unproven qb is bold though.

Sec is pretty wide open this year.

What are you ladies mad about?

Y’all think he should have put LSU in there?

Bama skull fricked LSU and Brian Kelly in TS and went up and down the field in one of their worst seasons in recent memory

But y’all want LSU to be favored over them.

CBK has to prove he can be an elite coach at LSU before the national media crowns him

Florida and OU are extremely underrated based on media perception. OU got a really good QB now with an already good defense. Not saying they will beat LSU but they're positioned to surprise in the SEC.

They don’t have a QB

Good luck with that.

“Everyone hates LSU!”

I guess you missed all the times where he praised LSU. Oh, but I guess he was just paid to throw jabronis like you a bone.

Why do you folks let this type of thing bother you? Why do you take it so personally? You have zero to do with the LSU football team.

I like Pate

he seems reasonable to me, he at least explains his takes

it's entertainment!!!!

LSU needs to earn the respect we're wanting by winning meaningful games

Schedule matters a LOT when it comes to predictions. Last year showed there is little room for error and 10-2 is needed to make the playoffs. 9-3 with some luck.

If you replace Clemson with Wisconsin like Bama has, I would say LSU has a great shot at the playoffs. But playing at a top 5 team on the road in week 1 is more than likely than not a loss. So you need to go 11-1 the rest of the way with games at Bama, at OU, at Ole Miss, and then some hard home games with aTm, UF, and USC.

Compare that to Bama. They play at UGA, Missouri, USC, and Auburn. Probably 1 loss. Then get LSU, Tenn, Vandy, and OU at home. Maybe 1 loss there too. Could easily see them finishing 10-2.

I really think LSU is capable of being a playoff team this year that could easily miss the playoffs just because of the tough schedule. We just keep killing ourselves by scheduling VERY difficult game 1 games giving us 0 room for error after an opening loss.

At a loss for words

Why?

Alabama and Georgia have won 10 of the last 11 SEC Championship games. Yes, I know Saban is gone, but when you look at Bama’s roster it’s still loaded.

I mean…it’s not crazy to pick them. Only 4 teams have a legit shot at winning the SEC (Texas, Georgia, Bama, and LSU). Choosing Bama is not really going out on a limb or crazy. Lol

Bama could very easily lose more than 1 on the road and at home.

He’s repeated over and over how wide open the league is. He thinks as many as 7/8 teams could win the SEC.
