Losing Jordan would be a pretty big blow.
Inb4 someone mentions Nolan Cain.

Would be happy for Josh Jordan. Sucks to possibly lose him, but he's a great coach and more than deserves this opportunity. I trust that Jay would replace him with someone with a history of success.

Jordan is made for that job. He's from NC and was with Pollard every step of the way until he came here. It will suck to lose him, but he is very deserving.

Makes a ton of sense. He has spent nearly a decade there already and is from North Carolina. Duke is a good job.

Good for him - hopefully he has the same going out party as Wes Johnson did.

Would hate to lose him but would be happy for him if he got the job. He deserves it.

What am I missing? The article is behind a pay wall.
Did Duke fire their head coach this morning after losing to Murray State?

UVA is hiring Duke's HC.

That was my thinking. Good call on their part. I didn't realize that UVA was a better job than Duke.

I think UVA actually upgraded here.

This is just one of the results from a winning program. Other programs will reach out and hire the Coaches in your program to try to replicate the success. Good problem to have. I would expect Jay to make an excellent hire in replacing him. Also its still Jay's offensive philosophy so I would not expect any drop off.

He and Jay did not split on the best of terms. Wes since arriving in UGA has been really shitty.

Jordan is pretty good with the catchers, need someone who is strong there

Hernandez looks a lot better defensively than I was expecting.
