Could be, but in my experience it is more realistically called "Buddy Ball". It's part of some cultures.
The same guy's played hard as shite for Mauck, who was also older. The "cultural" issue you're alluding to seems to be with Booty alone.

Josh booty could have come to LSU when LSU had no NFL QB talent. But he waited until LSU had 2 NFL QB talents on the roster.

he is not wrong about many of those commenst. well rohan did great once booty was benched after audible pick 6 against UAb cost us. but once rohan was hurt in UF game booty played very well rest of year in 2000. led us to big come from behind win against MOO u and beat bama. sure he was flat first half of that peach bowl and saban did right thing putting in rohan. both helped greatly that year in 2000. if you knew booty he is not a bad guy at all. but most shitbirds here will slam him.

That's pretty much what happened to Abram Booty.

Ole Josh just a bit bitter. I would have thought that would have gone away in 35 years.

Got to give Josh credit for one thing, breaking the gump curse and finally beating them in Tiger Stadium for the first time in 30 years in 2000. He threw 4 TD's and i'm forever grateful to him for that feat.
